Made with PSP 8 but can be adapted for other versions
The creations you make with this tutorial belong to you, but the tutorial belongs to me.
Mehdi Kaleidoscope 2.1 can be downloaded here, http://www.mehdiplugins.com/
Select a colorful image
Go to selections and select all, then modify and contract 10 or 15 pixels, depending on the size of your image and then invert.
Go to effects>inner bevel and use these settings:
Promote selection to layer and deselect. Duplicate first layer with the image and resize 10%. Make sure you donít have all layers ticked when you resize. Duplicate this layer, resize 10%. Repeat again. You will now have 4 image layers, in graduated sizes.
Click on the promoted selection of the frame and duplicate layer. Resize10%, duplicate, resize 10%, and repeat again. Turn off all the layers except for the four frame layers. Merge all layers visible.
Use the plug-in, Medhi, Kaleidoscope, using these settings.
Select inner bevel using the same settings as before and you can also add a drop shadow if you wish.
Turn on your other layers of images with the frames.
Turn the transparency layer of kaleidoscope frame down to about 60 or 70% and you are done!!
